Dear Valued Guests of The Grey Spa,
Firstly, thank you for your support during the past 5 years; we appreciate everyone who has sent in their cherished and valuable items - your trust in our services has been so important to our small business.
So many things have changed since The Grey Spa began; the massive growth of resale, particularly in the luxury and vintage sectors have meant a large influx of new dealers and collectors alike. Combined with the rise in very high quality counterfeit items, as well as a flood of very poor condition vintage; our existing business model is no longer compatible with the pace and demand of the resale market.
While our new structure going forward will accommodate a fewer number of overall guests, we hope to impact a larger community with knowledge about leather goods of all types. Our goal is to educate those curious about both leather and luxury; including quality & condition issues, repair and restoration knowledge, technique and construction, as well as best practices for buying and storage. Rather than turning into a volume repair business, our goal is to use our niche knowledge base to assist a broader community in successfully navigating the nuances of today's luxury leather resale market.
